Responsibilities:


  • Performing the administration of project invoicing, including complex billings for submissions to customers of various types of client contracts.
  • Validating that invoices are accurate and complete. Review and verify data from all sources to ensure accuracy and compliance with client contracts and MEMS policies and procedures. Ensure all backup has been gathered to support client billings.
  • Contributing to the development of project controls if required based on an understanding of project controls for cost management, project planning, and subcontractor management.
  • Providing ongoing project status and analysis information to Project Managers and Project Services upon request, including a budget, schedule and deliverables.
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline billing within assigned client portfolios and troubleshoot issues.
  • Analyzing project financial data to provide enhanced project reporting and monitor project performance for a portfolio of projects.
  • Investigating and resolving unbilled issues to optimize billing possibilities for the billing period.
  • Maintaining Aged Work in Progress (WIP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) below target levels, documenting follow up and escalating unresolved issues when required.
  • Maintaining projectrelated records, including PO's, contracts and change orders.
  • Updating day rate units in MEMS ERP weekly based on contract requirements.
  • Reviewing and verifying third party invoices related to a project.
  • Uploading and entering invoices in external client billing systems (Enfos, Open Invoice, and Cortex).
  • Documenting client requirements and invoicing processes and updating at least two times per year.
  • Closingout project accounts upon project completion within MEMS ERP and Client systems, and
- other duties as required.


What you Bring:

years' experience in project accounting-type roles, as well as an accounting or business diploma from an accredited institution.

  • Experience in the professional services or consulting industry is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with Vantagepoint would be considered a strong asset; and
  • Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Office Suite, is required, MEMS ERP, Siteview and other client systems such as ENFOS and Cortex would be an asset.
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • A welldefined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills, and
  • Excellent teamwork and teambuilding skills
