Automotive
Service Technician

We are looking for a motivated, fully trained, Automotive Technician to join our busy Service Department.

Not certified? We are also open to hiring a 3th or 4th year Apprentice if you are the right fit.

Responsibilities:

Perform repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards and manufacturer specs.
Testdrive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed while providing accurate estimates of time needed.
Complete tasks in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.
Additional duties as required.

We're looking for an

individual with:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent organization skills
Excellent communication skills
A desire to exceed customer expectations
Previous shop/mechanic experience
Valid Class 5 drivers' license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to drive standard transmission vehicles
Government issued Automotive Service Technician License is an asset
Honda experience is an asset
