Responsibilities:


  • Screen, schedule and conduct applicant interviews on an on-going basis
  • Maintain all corporate hiring and training standards by through detailed documentation, conducting reference checks, criminal
  • Answer each employment inquiry in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner
  • Background, and other mandatory recruitment requirements
  • Scheduling and orientation, and on-going training
  • Work in partnership with the Service Coordinator to coordinate schedules with an emphasis on creating high quality matches and extraordinary relationships
  • Maintain and update all orientation and training materials as needed
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with the owners, colleagues, front-line workers, clients, and family members
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team

Education, Skills & Experience Requirements:


  • Exceptional MS Office skills, and the ability to use with ease web-based systems
  • Experience recruiting Personal Support Workers (PSW), home care and health care professionals
  • Experience in health care, home care and/or hospitality sector
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to organize and prioritize daily work
  • Must possess a valid G Class Ontario Drivers License

Job Types:
Part-time, Casual

Part-time hours: 20 per week


Salary:
From $18.25 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Pickering, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
