We are looking for an enthusiastic People & Culture Coordinator with a passion for delivering an engaging employee experience both directly with staff and behind the scenes.

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, the Coordinator will be key member of our team by delivering key communications and programs to staff, while building relationships and improving processes in alignment with our team and organizational strategy to enhance employee experience.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Develop a bestinclass endtoend onboarding and integration process to ensure employees at all levels are integrated and fully assimilated into the organization effectively and feel that they belong; coordinate with internal partners such as Digital & IT, Facilities, and hiring managers to provide a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Ensure all aspects of new hire compliance and internal learning modules are completed within the required timeline by all incoming employees.
  • Meet with new hires to provide organizational information as well as coordinate other key meetandgreet sessions with key internal stakeholders, including senior leaders. Conduct presentations and moderate online platforms to ensure new hires have timely and required information.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team with reference and police checks for new hires.
  • Ensure the employee offboarding process is seamless with the coordination of all relevant internal partners.
  • Conduct and analyze onboarding and exit surveys, and monitor Our Voice and Pulse Survey data, to obtain insights and identify employee experience trending; provide recommendations and best practice learning to improve experience programs and processes.
  • Work with internal teams to test and continuously improve digitally enabled processes for all employee systems to ensure processes are effective and efficient.
  • In collaboration with the Total Rewards and Communications teams, and other internal partners, support the execution of our Employer Brand strategy both internally and externally, including our employee recognition programs\.
  • Oversee our People & Culture online employee resources including company intranet and social networking platforms.
  • Be an internal champion for legislativerelated People & Culture policies and procedures including leaves, health & safety, accessibility, and other requirements; be a member of internal teams and/or working groups related to employee experience initiatives.
  • Support the People & Culture team with special initiatives as required.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field, working towards CHRP designation.
  • 3+ years' work experience in a similar role.
  • Good knowledge of Canadian employment legislation.
  • Handson experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS); and strong skills in Microsoft Office including Teams and other intranet and organizational social network platforms.
  • Solid communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong team spirit and collaboration.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
