Maintenance Enforcement and Locate Services (MELS) is a work unit within Tribunal and Agency Support Division (TASD), under the Ministry of Attorney General's Justice Services Branch.


MELS is also responsible for legislation governing the Family Maintenance Enforcement Program, administered by the BC Family Maintenance Agency, to monitor and enforce support orders and agreements for families enrolled in its services.


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of one (1) year recent related experience; or
  • Diploma with a minimum of two (2) years recent related experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of education and three (3) years recent related experience

Recent related experience must include:

  • Providing services to people from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience in case management to effectively and independently manage a complex caseload
Preference may be given with any of the following experience:

  • Child Support Guidelines
  • Relevant provincial and federal family law legislation
  • BC family justice system
  • Ttraining others and developing business processes

About this Position:

There is currently a temporary opportunity available until September 5, 2024. This temporary appointment may become permanent.
