Health and Safety Administrator
PME Inc. is based in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.

The PME Group provides civil site work and common construction services to the oil and gas industry in Western Canada.

The key bases of work have most recently been to the oil refineries, oil sands development and oil and gas pipeline sectors in the greater Edmonton, Fort Saskatchewan and Fort McMurray areas.

In the position of a Health and Safety Administrator, we would ask you to do the following:

  • Deliver company safety orientation on a daily basis
  • Organize and register all company safety training
  • Organize and process FLHA's, and inspections
  • Support all Field Safety Coordinators administratively
  • Record meeting minutes and prepare presentations
  • Maintain internal database for all safety documents and records
  • Perform all administrative duties for the safety department (data entry, filing, etc.)

Sounds challenging and exciting right? Here are a few of the attributes and experience you need to be successful in this position:

  • Health and Safety Administration certificate or equivalent training and experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Health and Safety Administrator, within the construction industry
  • Extremely proficient administrative skills, and a highly professional demeanor required
  • High degree of quality in regards to; attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficient and competent in the operation of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Accurate and strong data entry skills
  • Independent work skills within tight deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Committed to continuous improvement and learning

Additional requirements:


  • Must successfully complete preaccess drug and alcohol testing
  • Must possess valid CSTS.09 (Construction Safety Training Systems) certification
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and provide an insurable Driver's Abstract
