  • Ensure an accurate log is kept at all times for all trailers on the property. This includes trailers in doors, in the yard and third party live loads and deliveries.
  • Ensure freight chart is updated each time that a load is shipped, complete appropriate documentation dependant on load destination.
  • Provide direction to shipping forklift operators to ensure trailers are loaded correctly and in order of priority.
  • Coordinate internal freight movements and ensure applicable doors are used to utilize space and time travel guidelines.
  • Assign forklift operators non shipping duties as required.
  • Schedule forklift drivers based on needs
  • Control warehouse raw materials, floor plans, counts, staging
  • Ensure warehouse is clean and organized
  • 2 year of forklift experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in shipping/receiving, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

Warehouse Lead must be able to perform complex procedures and calculations, completing required documentation ensuring accuracy.

  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and provide direction to the forklift operators as required.
  • Communicate efficiently with truck drivers and customers as required to provide shipped/received information.
Must be able to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends especially during peak season. There will be an on call component with this role. Specific shift schedule to be discussed during the interview process.
