Our team members are responsible for preparing lunch and brunch items to order as well as baking a variety of pastries, bread, and other baked goods, ensuring that all products are of high quality, fresh, and meet our customers' expectations.

While cooking/baking experience is not required, a passion for cooking or baking is preferred.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare sandwiches and brunch items to order
  • Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, bread, and other baked goods
  • Mix and measure ingredients, using a variety of kitchen tools and equipment
  • Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistent quality and taste of products
  • Keep the kitchen clean and organized to maintain a safe and sanitary working environment
  • Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure all orders are completed on time
  • Monitor inventory and place orders for supplies as needed
  • Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed

Requirements:


  • Experience and/or passion for baking is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work early mornings, beginning at 5:15 am
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: per week


Salary:
$17.00-$20.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON M6H 3Y9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
