Description
Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots and repairs computer systems, hardware and peripherals

  • Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems
  • Identifies, analyzes and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed
  • Performs a variety of complicated tasks
  • Onsite software support
  • Repair of highend printers and multifunction devices
  • Hardware repair and software restoration at server component level
  • Network device replacement/configuration
  • Basic network troubleshooting
  • Experience with inventory management, incident response, and reporting
  • Experience with IT support in an airport environment or Transportation industry an asset
  • Deploy equipment (including: computers, displays, keyboards, printers, handheld scanners, and other peripheral devices)
  • Deliver paper / ribbons / toner and reload if required, responding to print and AV incidents;
  • Perform preventive maintenance of client's assets (including: inspection, basic testing, adjustments, cleaning, upgrading software/firmware, and arrange repair as necessary)

Experience:


  • Excellent communication skills, 3 years technical experience and CompTIA A+ certification is preferred.
  • Windows OS & Application Support, Dell Laptop/Desktop imaging and hardware experience
  • Provide general IMAC services for client's assets Expectations:
  • Overtime may be required

Job Type:
Permanent


Salary:
$25.00-$30.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift

  • Microsoft 365: 5 years (preferred)
  • Software troubleshooting: 5 years (preferred)
  • Network installation: 6 years (preferred)
  • Desktop support: 6 years (preferred)
Windows Remote Desktop: 5 years (preferred)

  • Technical support: 5 years (preferred)
  • Computer repair: 5 years (preferred)
  • Computer hardware: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • CompTIA A+ (preferred)
