Description
A busy general machining & fabricating shop in Burnaby BC has an opening for a full time general manager, allowing the current owner to step away from the day to day operations.
- meeting customers and determining their needs- scheduling work, organizing manpower and materials
- oversight of jobs through to completion
- ensuring the safe operation of all shop activities
- coordinating all necessary shop maintenance
Job requirements:
- ability to interact with customers and staff in a respectful and courteous manner
- organized individual with attention to detail
- ability to read and understand mechanical and shop drawing
- background in machining and/or fabricating
- previous experience in a supervisory position
- previous experience with AutoCAD programs
Normal Operating hours:
- Monday to Friday 6:30am to 4:00pm
Salary:
$110,000.00 per year
