Restaurant Supervisor - Toronto, Canada - Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport
Description
Manage the restaurant operation in a manner to ensure that high quality food and beverage service is provided for all customers, Company standards are met and Company policies are followed.
Responsibilities include (But are not limited to):
- Directs Restaurant Staff
- Acts as Manager on Duty when assigned
- Maintains inventory
- Plans and implements restaurant promotions
- Greets and seats guests
- Assists food servers, with beverage, water service, salad, dessert preparation, table busing and helps reduce bottlenecks that my occur with food service and cleaning.
Requirements:
- This position requires strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and the ability to effectively deal with department heads, guests, and team members along with an excellent command of the English language.
- A good attendance record is required.
- Previous restaurant experience is a must.
- A diploma in hospitality or restaurant management would be considered an asset
- Must have previous management experience and be Smart Serve certified
Must have flexible availability to work both night and day shifts.
