Your Role:


  • This position requires Travel 50% of the time, or as necessary to meet the objectives.
  • Fully support product installation and customer technical training onsite
  • Work collaboratively with customer quality assurance and quality control groups, utilizing internal partners such as technical service, product management, commercial marketing, and sales as necessary to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical expertise at seminars, tradeshows, and conferences
  • Support commercial team in qualification and advancement of opportunities through order execution
  • Deliver technical presentations to audiences with varying technical competency
  • Execute solid management skills in implementing and executing successful HIAs that balance activities with customer and industry needs as well as business priorities
  • Maintain effective and professional communication with internal and external customers.
  • Effectively communicate customer needs and requirements to internal stakeholders
  • Provide field technical service support and troubleshooting

Who You Are:


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in microbiology, molecular biology, food sciences or related life sciences
  • 2+ years of technical sales experience or 2+ years of technical industry experience

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Master's degree or doctorate in microbiology, molecular biology, food sciences or related life sciences
  • Experience with technology implementation in the food and beverage industry
  • Demonstrate business acumen and agility in the Food, Beverage, Contract (Reference) Testing Laboratory industries as it relates to the microbiology and/or molecular biology discipline
  • Skilled in achieving technical competency, product knowledge, understanding of workflow and competitive landscape
  • Familiarity with AOAC regulations for food safety with emphasis in quality control
  • Proven problemsolving and prioritization skills
  • Skilled in preparing, communicating and delivering technical presentations appropriate to the level of the audience
  • Demonstrate problemsolving skills and sound judgment to prioritize issues or gaps in daytoday activities
  • Experience navigating a complexmatrix organization.
