Reporting to the Senior Accounting Manager, the Accounting Manager will be a key member of the finance team and with the support of the finance group, is responsible for the following core areas of responsibility:

Oversee and manage accounting team of 18 members, ensuring daily, monthly, and annual tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Recruit and hire accounting staff and conduct performance evaluations.
Coordinate training for new and existing staff.
Liaise with external auditors.
Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience

5+ years of recent professional fullcycle accounting experience required, preferably in real estate, legal, and/or accounting industries.
CPA designation or working towards an accounting designation preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Experience with Yardi Voyager software is an asset.

Salary:
$80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
