Thames Valley Family Health Team Board of Directors is a skill based, policy governance board committed to creating an organization that is a primary health care leader and enhances the wellbeing of the people of Thames Valley.

The Board is dedicated to building a culture focused on employee wellness, integration and collaboration, health equity, and leadership in primary care.

As a member of this committee, you will assist the Treasurer in fulfilling his/her/their duties and responsibilities as outlined in the TVFHT Bylaws.

Together with the Treasurer, the committee will be responsible for ensuring that TVFHT funds and financial records are in order at all times in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

The committee will also review the annual budget to be presented to the Board of Directors for approval and will monitor the ongoing financial management of TVFHT.

Experience reviewing financial statements on a Board of Directors in the public domain, a good understanding of health-care administration, and a desire to lead the way in primary health care delivery are necessary.

An accounting designation would be beneficial in this role.
