Work Arrangements:
This is a hybrid role.

You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month.

You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.

The Product Owner - Website plays a pivotal role in business architecture, design and content of our public facing digital website.

The incumbent will provide overall ownership to our enterprise website - , our front door, and opportunity to make that first impression, for future and existing clients, employees, and partners to get to know Equitable.

This includes leading the design, release planning, analytics, content implementation and optimization for By creating and implementing integrated plans, you will first transform, and continue to evolve to reflect our brand purpose and strategic direction.

What you will be doing:


  • Act as the business owner for , own the strategy, roadmap, backlog to ensure our website strategy supports enterprise, organizational and team goals.
  • Play a lead role in rebuilding , collaborating closely with a cross functional project team and agency partners to ensure a seamless roll out of new website.
  • Act as the point person for ensuring businesses and functional team updates are managed, aligned, and driving the best outcomes possible including but not limited to recruiting, product marketing, brand campaigns, thought leadership etc.
  • Stay on top of current and emerging trends, competitive landscape bringing new and innovative ideas to elevate our digital experience.
  • Remain connected to business priorities, to ensure is supporting organizational priorities. Work closely with marketing, communications, and HR teams to align website content with current needs, marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Oversee the daytoday running of to ensure a seamless endtoend experience, in partnership with the marketing and communication teams across the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to website processes, content guidelines, accessibility requirements and controls.
  • Continually deliver exceptional performance by evaluating key metrics across end user experience.
  • Maintain site map and information/navigation architecture.
  • Accountable for content publishing.
  • In partnership with cross functional marketing and communications team implement SEO strategy and best practices to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
  • Collaborate with IT and other partners for technical development and integrations and monitor and improve website performance.
  • Monitor website analytics, track key performance indicators, and report on website traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Use data insights to make informed decisions and propose improvements.

What you will bring:


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or digital marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in website management, digital experiences and/or digital transformation
  • Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and creating dashboards
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and SEO.
  • Knowledge of website accessibility standards (WCAG) and data privacy regulations.
  • Experience working with a diverse group of stakeholders, in a fastpaced environment, managing multiple demands prioritizing work across multiple teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders, as well as business concepts with technologists.
  • Demonstrate project management skills by efficiently planning, organizing, and executing the operating model, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standar
