Description

Responsibilities:

Operate sidewalk snow clearing equipment to city sidewalks, driveways, private walkways, and other designated areas
Remove snow and ice from surfaces using shovels, blowers and other tools
Spread salt or sand on icy surfaces to prevent slips and falls
Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to changing snowfall levels
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time spent on each job
Inspect and maintain snow plow equipment to ensure proper functioning

Requirements:

Previous snow removal experience is preferred
Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot minor issues
Familiarity with winter property maintenance techniques
Ability to work in cold weather conditions for extended periods of time
Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
