- Leads analytical support on pursuit, implementation, consulting, and reengineering projects. Typically projects are large and complex.
- Designs new tools and processes for Integrated Logistics Design discipline. Provides leadership, guidance, training, and daily direction to team regarding discipline's tools and processes.
- Incorporates appropriate skills into design work (e.g., statistics, operations research, organizational behavior, finance, accounting, information technology, etc.).
- Presents large, complex, multidiscipline solutions. Supports continuous improvement initiatives through development and validation of innovative logistics design solutions.
- Provides leadership, direction, training, development, and daily guidance to internal associates.
- Provides accurate data that can be used for continuous improvement and/or business pursuit activities.
- May develop and administer KPI's to ensure effective measurement and maximization requirements through effective inbound, crossdock, and outbound route optimization and planning.
- May work with customer and supported DHL Supply Chain business units to ensure that DHL Supply Chain receives appropriate credit for customer cost savings generation and additional revenue opportunities that result.
- May participate in relationship management with customers, operations management, suppliers, and customer's strategic planning partners.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field required
- Master's degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field, preferred
- 13 years of experience leading, supervising, and/or managing a team of associates., preferred
