We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Trade Sales Manager to lead our trade sales efforts, foster relationships with trade professionals, and be at the forefront of forging partnerships and driving sales growth within the interior design and architecture trade sectors.

**Please note - You must be legally permitted to work in Canada as this is an in office position at our location in Mount Pleasant

  • Vancouver**WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive trade sales strategy aimed at expanding Rove Concepts' presence within the interior design and architecture sectors.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Trade Sales Representatives to achieve and surpass sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key trade clients, understanding their design needs and providing tailored product solutions and exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct market research to identify design trends, emerging industry needs, and competitive strategies. Utilize these insights to inform sales plans and product development.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to align sales strategies with targeted promotional activities, ensuring consistent brand messaging and visibility within the trade community.
  • Analyze trade sales data to assess performance, derive actionable insights, and make informed decisions to enhance sales strategies.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for executive review, highlighting accomplishments, challenges, and recommended strategies for improvement.
  • Stay uptodate with interior design and architecture industry trends, innovative design techniques, and evolving client preferences to maintain expertise in the field.
  • Address any challenges or issues arising during the trade sales process promptly, delivering effective solutions to maintain seamless operations.
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with the teams to ensure efficient execution of trade sales strategies.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Proven track record of sales management. Interior design or architecture industry is a plus.
  • Strong leadership acumen, with the ability to inspire and guide a trade sales team towards achieving goals.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for building and nurturing lasting client relationships.
  • Analytical mindset to interpret trade sales data and extract valuable insights.
  • Strategic thinking capability demonstrated by developing and implementing successful trade sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills and adeptness at problemsolving.
  • Wellorganized with excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Adaptability to evolving market dynamics and ability to introduce innovative trade sales approaches.
  • Passion for interior design, architecture, and a keen eye for design trends.
