Qualifications:
Essential:
- Completion of postsecondary education in Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of experience and onthejob training related to accounting or finance may be considered.
- Extensive work related experience performing accounts payable functions such as; updating records, performing reconciliation, and monitoring account discrepancies.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills to independently interpret and balance the department's accounts payable system.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and interact effectively with team members, clients, and the general public.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and excerise a high degree of initiative.
- Strong verbal communication skills to communicate clearly and professionally with a broad range of internal and external clients.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.
Desired:
- Experience working within the financial payment processes and reporting modules of SAP software.
