We are seeking full-time Machine Operators to join our Fabrication team. Punch, bend, and assemble raw materials with various machines to prepare components for our assembly lines. Primarily, this role is responsible for operating machinery to fabricate our components.
Responsibilities and Duties

Prepare machinery and equipment for safe operation to start the production process
Following work instructions and processes, operate various machinery and equipment by supplying raw materials to your machines
Ensure materials are bent, shaped, punched, and assembled according to Systemair standards to ensure waste is minimized
Perform preventative maintenance activities on a daily, weekly, and monthly schedule for the machine and tools required for your duties
Inspect parts using tape measures, calipers, and tbevels to ensure quality of finished components
When issues arise, assist the Maintenance team with troubleshooting machinery or product malfunctions
Verbally report issues with materials or malfunctioning machinery to your Team Lead to ensure only quality approved materials and machines are utilized
Maintain safe and clean work area by performing daily housekeeping tasks and following preventative maintenance schedules

Qualifications:

High school diploma required
Basic knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes preferred
Able to read and understand work instructions (paper and electronic) required
Professional level of written and verbal communication required; both official languages an asset
Able to work proficiently in a teamoriented setting, as well as independently
Able to work overtime if needed
Moderate physical effort able to lift between 10 and 50lbs at times
Ability to stand for 13 hours at a time
Ability to perform repetitive motions for long periods of time
Advanced dexterity skills to operate tools and machinery
