We are currently hiring for the role of
_Education_:

-
Coordinator_, where you will foster positive relationships and provide professional development training sessions to teachers across the nation. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the
_Manager of Education _ to influence the future of education by creating impactful programs and initiatives that empower teachers to excel in their careers.

What you will do:


Contributing to Annual Teacher Training Plan and Efficient Implementation:You'll propose innovative methods to deliver effective Teacher Training to educators across
Canada, as well as coordinate the Education Team's involvement in national and international conferences.


Program Coordination:

You'll be responsible for the logistics of the Education Team's direct involvement in teacher PD programs, including planning travel and processing purchases.

You'll be the main contact with delivery partners and be responsible for managing parts of the program, like registration, material procurement, and facility booking.


Program Delivery:

You'll deliver engaging STEM & digital skills teacher training sessions across Canada, delivering them in both French and English and utilizing both synchronous and asynchronous methods.

You'll offer troubleshooting and support during program delivery, ensuring a smooth and seamless learning experience.


Enhancing Content:
You will support the Education Team's initiatives by creating resources and tools for educators, contributing to Actua's content development. You'll provide valuable feedback and input to develop effective Teacher Training sessions tailored to community and educator needs. Collaborating with communities and the
Education team, you'll ensure program content is culturally and locally relevant to educators and the youth they teach.


Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in education or related field.
  • Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written).
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate both inperson and virtual learning experiences with adult learners.
  • Demonstrated ability in organizing tasks and conveying ideas with utmost clarity, smoothly collaborating, and fostering a cohesive work environment.
  • Proficiency in harnessing cuttingedge educational technologies, driving transformative advancements in teaching and learning methodologies.
  • Orchestrating and coordinating complex projects with finesse while ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Passionate about education and supporting teachers' professional growth.
