Construction Project Manager to join our growing team from our downtown Halifax location.


Reporting to the Construction Manager, in this role you will have the opportunity to support strategic and complex development initiatives in our Region.

This opportunity is ideal if you are driven, detail oriented and have a strong interest in seeing projects come to life.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Working with internal and external stakeholders on project execution while communicating the Company's interests throughout projects;
  • Providing dependable oversight and hands on project management throughout the lifecycle of construction projects, including schedules and quality while establishing and maintaining positive relations and communication with stakeholders such as planning agencies, consultants, architects and subcontractors;
  • Overseeing the work of external professional service providers while keeping projects moving, within scope and ensuring timelines are met;
  • Maximizing resources, managing expectations, communicating difficult or complex concepts while collaborating with others to achieve success;
  • Preparing detailed project handover and inspection programs to ensure the streamlined delivery of each project.

Your qualifications include:


  • 5 + years experience as a Construction Project Manager leading and managing complex projects.
  • PMP certification.
  • Ability to communicate with others clearly and effectively.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Thorough knowledge of procurement and practices as applied to planning, design and operation of highend assets.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects and can demonstrate how you have measured your success on previous projects.
  • Experience predicting obstacles and challenges and can establish effective contingency plans that ensure project's deliverables are met.
  • Ability to establish relationships with various stakeholders and adjust communication style to various audiences including senior leadership.
  • Some knowledge of construction/ build out practices considered an asset
