- Aug 2024.**Job Summary
Major Responsibilities
- Assist with monthend closing for complex areas of accounting including preparing account reconciliations
- Participate in the quarterend planning process
- Assist with compiling and maintaining monthend checklists and binders, including financial statement disclosure, on designated areas and assist other team members during quarterly and annual close process
- Participate in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial reports
- Participate in the review of quarterly presentations for various departments
- Work closely with auditors to provide information and clarification during external audits
Requirements:
- Fluently bilingual both written and verbal (English, French)
- Inspires through impactful communication
- Solves problems using analytical thinking
- Planning and organization skills
- Makes informed and timely decisions
- Tracks metrics and is accountable
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience in data analytics and reporting*Education
- Working towards or have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Any experience/education/skills/knowledge for these above would be considered as an asset
