Mastercraft Starwood is a leading residential real estate developer and property management company in Ottawa and Toronto.
Mastercraft is developing a new generation of purpose-built rental buildings which are state of the art, transit oriented, energy efficient under the SoHo brand.
We are looking for aLeasing Manager who is responsible for developing & executing our pre-leasing strategy and overseeing the leasing success at SOHO Purpose Built Rental Properties.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies and manage execution of pricing & leasing programs to achieve budgets including revenue management & oversight of SoHo Purpose Built properties.
- Understand leasing targets, and review leasing plans to include pricing, target market, competitive analysis, and general assessment of building curb appeal, advertising needs, leasing initiatives and leasing programs.
- Manage, develop & oversee Leasing Agents to ensure leasing targets are met by providing clear objectives and guidance; perform people manager responsibilities as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to plan and develop strategies and campaigns for all sales and leasing programs to encourage quality leasing etc.
- Identify opportunities to increase the value of the properties through renewals, new leasing opportunities and potential developments with a focus on maximizing revenue.
- Develop, implement, monitor, and analyze leasing programs and provide feedback and key customer insights/results.
- Develop & maintain leasing metrics: occupancy / vacancy rates, turnover rates, traffic reports, sales conversion, and marketing effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the Operations and Human Resources to develop, coach and mentor leasing team on sales and leasing programs.
- Direct and complete market survey reports and propose necessary pricing recommendation and opportunities based on competitive threats.
- Assist with promotional material, notices and other special sales and leasing collateral to both internal and external parties.
- Complete appropriate needs analysis on what's working and what's not; identify deficiencies & recommend appropriate actions.
- Other duties and projects as assigned by the President.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Supervisory/Management role with Knowledge of the real estate industry and Multi-Residential an asset.
- Must be exceptionally knowledgeable of the Ottawa real estate market & have full insights on current & future trends.
- Must be a member of TRREB and licensed by RECO or have recently completed the Real Estate Salesperson Program with understanding of all applicable laws, legislation and rights concerning resident/landlord relations.
- Ability to think critically, strategically, and creatively to leverage best practices and enable solutions that lead to action and superior results.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills; ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships with prospects, residents, and internal staff.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with _mínimal direction_ and respond effectively to issues that arise.
- Computer Skills
- Advanced skills in Excel, Word, Outlook and proficiency with MRI, Zoom, Teams.
