Job Summary:
ELEVATOR EXPERIENCE IS AN ASSET We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team.
As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for assembling, building, and fabricating metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate various power tools and machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Use power tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble metal components
- Operate press brake machines for bending and forming metal
- Perform plasma cutting and welding tasks
- Ensure accuracy and quality in all fabricated metal products
- Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and processes
- Familiarity with machining operations
- Ability to use various power tools and equipment effectively
- Experience operating cranes or other lifting equipment is a plus
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
