Position Title
- Project Coordinator
Position Summary - The Project Coordinator leads and manages the planning, design, implementation, and assessment of one or more projects within a single operational area or across the institution as guided by a project sponsor. Projects will be highly collaborative and can involve a variety of internal and external stakeholders. The Project Coordinator will display a high degree of initiative and the ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve highend results. This individual utilizes analytical skills, flexibility, and creativity to support decisionmaking in serving the strategic and operational objectives for the project. They will coordinate project planning, communication, timelines, and reporting as needed and keep project sponsors and other stakeholders apprised of project progress. This position can include project budget management and human resources process management as required. The Project Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring project success.
Position Responsibilities - Responsibilities of the Project Coordinator include:
- Project Management
- Budget Implementation
- Human Resources Coordination
Required Qualifications
- Four (4) year undergraduate degree, or three (3) year undergraduate degree plus one full additional year of University in a related program representing four years of study or equivalent in Business Administration or other related field.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience
- Project management experience is required
- Ability to champion and lead change; a proactive, collaborative, resultsoriented style
- Ability to work in a dynamic, everchanging, fastpaced environment with multiple demands, competing priorities and numerous deadlines
- Ability to use and interpret complex data to accurately advise and inform decision makers
- Able to advance multiple operational initiatives and decision points within established timeframes and budgets
- Strong leadership and teambuilding skills
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship building, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to exercise good judgement and discretion, and maintain confidentiality
- Effective organizational, time management, and planning skills
- Excellent oral, written, and technical skills
- Proven ability to determine priorities, be selfdirected, and work with mínimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge and awareness of the operation of a postsecondary institution is preferred
Salary or Hourly?
- Hourly
Salary - Starting at $39.82 per hour
Benefits and Compensation Information - An additional 15% of the hourly rate in lieu of vacation, statutory holidays, and benefits.
