MCL Group is currently looking to hire an experienced
Estimator who specializes in
Underground and Commercial Infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Analyzes plans, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare bid estimates for projects, and support the presentation of estimate proposals.
Research and analyzes cost data for review and presentation to management.
Reviews discipline specific bid/tender documents and assess potential risk.
Communicate effectively (written and oral) with the estimating team, with all levels of management, clients and industry contacts.
Prepare Bonding Requests

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years experience in Underground Water & Sewer
A thorough understanding of the Construction Industry such as; documents, practices, costs and budgets
Experience in Commercial, Municipal, Industrial and Civil Earthworks.
A diploma in Civil or Construction Engineering Technology is an asset.
Positive team orientated attitude.
Valid Driver's License and a clean drivers abstract.

Education:

Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- civil earthworks: 3 years (preferred)
- underground water and sewer: 3 years (preferred)

- estimating: 3 years (preferred)

Commercial Infrastructure: 1 year (preferred)
Underground Estimator: 1 year (preferred)
