Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets related to the Exceptions department and provide recommendations for reduction of costs
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and analysis of exceptions data to identify key opportunities for reducing damages, creating operational efficiencies, identifying cost savings, and decreasing claims
  • Leads and provide analytical support for the Exceptions based projects
  • Build and analyze automated dataset dashboards to predict issues before they arise
  • Provide adhoc data analysis as needed from crossfunctional teams
  • Collaborates with logistics and finance teams to ensure validity of cost data

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 4+ years experience as data analyst focused on reporting and continuous improvement
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field such as business, supply chain, logistics, data analytics
  • Experience with modeling, visual dash boarding, database query design in SQL, Tableau, and/or PowerBi is required
  • Strong analytical skills to gather and interpret data to recommend, test, and implement solutions
  • Mandatory advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Must be proactive and results oriented with strong organization, communication and influencing skills, a selfstarter who takes initiative, seeks opportunities for improvement, and creatively and constructively challenges the status quo
  • Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality and accuracy
  • Ability to present ideas in a clear manner to executive leadership, customers, and associates
