Machine Set Up assistant
You live in the
West part of Ottawa and want to work at a
few minutes drive from your home? You want to work
from 07:00 to 15:30, Monday to Friday? You want to join a

How can you contribute to our success?

This role is dedicated to directly learning the set up for the various presses and solving trouble shooting of the production equipment as issues arise.

Some of the attachments being mounted on are heavy and cumbersome.

Assisting anywhere needed due to demand.

Position Summary:

Set up production equipment
Feed sheets into equipment
Monitor and remedy all quality issues
Prepare, clean and return tooling/print plates to and from storage
Bale scrap / Sweep / Housekeeping / Keep a clean safe working area
Palletize / Unitize product
Complete Quality Reports and all other required documentation
Perform all other tasks assigned by Supervisor
Have
basic computer skills:
Are fluent with
basic measurement devices in Metric/Imperial and
conversion capabilities
Comfortable in a
fastpaced work environment

Working Conditions:
The position requires continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, heavy lifting and carrying. Work outside and inside, work around machinery.

$19.79 per hour
