Description

Environmental Technician:

This office and field position is primarily responsible for helping plan, select, coordinate, scientific and technical services to support environmental remediation and hazardous waste management project's Scope of Work, to be done in compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.

Tasks include:

Under direct supervision, prepare various daily, weekly and monthly reports;
Environmental monitoring;
Analyze environmental/site/material data;
Completing waste transfer manifests;
Support the Project Manager in various field tasks;
Provide miscellaneous field support tasks (e.g tracking activity, site photographs);
Complete related documentation (field reports, logs, meeting minutes, online submittals) in a timely and accurate manner;
In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position.
