Join our team at a long-established Oakville dental clinic (Dorval, right off the highway). We are looking for a dental assistant to join our long-time team. The position starts at 30-35 hours, with the potential to expand hours if you're interestedOur practice offers a welcoming and professional environment. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding care to families and maintaining a positive workplace for our team.
Key Requirements:
- CDA Level I or II
- HARP Certification.
- A minimum of 3 years of dental assistant experience.
- Familiarity with AbelDent software is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently, with a keen eye for detail.
- Committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
- Positive teamoriented attitude.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming, seating, and preparing patients for treatment.
- Ensuring treatment rooms are clean and wellprepared.
- Adherence to IPAC Guidelines.
- Sterilization of instruments and preparation of trays.
- Proficiency in digital xray taking.
- Upkeep of autoclaves and sterilization areas.
- Supporting the dentists, hygienists, and other staff members.
- Support the front desk, including occassional patient recalls and reminder calls.
- Chairside assistance in various dental procedures including restorative work, endodontics, surgeries, implants, and orthodontics.

$25.00-$30.00 per hour
