Omnitrans is currently searching for a Logistics Coordinator, Courier Services to join their Courier team in Montreal.

This role is designed for an energetic problem solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment who also has a flair for catering to customer satisfaction.

The primary purpose of the job is to support the day-to-day operations of the Section 321 and Inland Freight divisions across several functions with a focus on customer service and operational coordination of special projects including assistance in processing billing files.


Your day-to-day:


  • Coordinate the daily crossborder movement of goods via multiple transportation options across the east and west coast borders (USA/Canada).
  • Manage the flow and processing of data files needed to facilitate entry into the USA/Canada.
  • Maintain contact with warehousing partners and act as the conduit between them and our customers.
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.
  • Handle customer challenges by providing them with appropriate solutions and alternatives within acceptable time limits.
  • Follow up with clients/vendors as needed.
  • Escalate to manager when required.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings.

What you bring:


  • 2 years of work experience, ideally in the freight/logistics or customer service industry
  • Computer knowledge (word, excel)
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ambitious, energetic and performs well under pressure
  • Team player
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
