Ensures the follow-up of the activities and the management of Technical Publications, Training, Special Tools and Maintenance groups. Manages multiple projects simultaneously.

Is responsible for labor management of a multifunctional team consisting up to 20 people (budget, planning, coordination and staff evaluation).

Communicates regularly the progress and update of each project with key players such as Customers, Suppliers, Project Management, Procurement and ensures supplier's follow-up.

He is responsible of change request evaluation, submits technical requirement documents and participates to bid preparations.


Responsible for meeting the delivery milestones to ensure the financial success of its objectives for each of its projects, on average $ 5 to $ 20 million per project.


  • Manages work on technical publications and training (budgets, planning, daily and weekly meetings, performance indicators and outsourcing) in line with priorities arising from milestones, contractual schedules and customer commitments.
  • Manages work related to the development of special tools and maintenance plans (budgets, planning, travel coordination, training logistics) in accordance with the priorities arising from milestones, contractual schedules and customer commitments.
  • Meets, discuss and negotiate with suppliers, service providers and customers to ensure that the customer's expectations are met while taking into account Alstom's objectives. Coordinates the availability of engineering information, suppliers, procurement, customers and other Alstom groups, evaluates change requests to adequately support the various department functions.
  • Analyzes customer requirements and participates to bid preparations(hours and costs). Prepares the submission documentation and supplier requirements.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor degree in Engineering and Project Management or relevant experience will also be considered.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience is required.
  • Knowledge of Technical Publications, Technical Trainings, Special Tools and Maintenance activity are an asset.
