Description

We are currently seeking a

Linux System Administrator to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA).

Responsibilities:

We require some help with our team's operational tasks (restores, some Linux administration). It will be a maintenance, user requests, small amount of troubleshooting.
Demonstrate the ability to foster teamwork within the department and the company.
Must show the ability to take initiative and use sound judgment and prioritize tasks and follow through to completion.
Review Infrastructure Systems Security server audit reports for exceptions to be established.
Maintain risk assessments and remediation processes for Infrastructure server systems.
Defines documents, maintains, and communicates all HP-UX, Linux, and Windows server security policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
3 to 5 years of experience in Windows, Linux, and Unix systems administration
3 to 5 years preferred, scripting in Bash, PowerShell, and YAML
Working knowledge of HP hardware and software tools
Familiarity with Information Life Cycle Management
