Summary_


To provide inforce policy administrative support and product information to our customers (brokers and their clients, and our insurance carriers) and colleagues.

What You Will Do_

  • Build and maintain a positive relationship with our customers and colleagues.
  • Interact effectively with each one, based on their needs and preferences; teamwork and attention to detail.
  • Support for Reception/Front Desk activities.
  • Work effectively as a team and independently with a desire to learn and develop skills.
  • Adhere to Anti Money Laundering, Fintrac, Privacy, and TruStone Financial Inc. compliance policies and procedures. This includes mandatory yearly trainings.
  • Cross-Training learning other department functions to support as a backup when needed.
  • Perform other related duties, as necessary or as assigned.
  • Opportunities available to gain product knowledge by attending industry courses and webinars.

Prioritize workload, based on the importance and time sensitivity of each task.

Ensure quality and consistency of responses and inquiries through methods such as proof-reading and descriptive language.

Make independent decisions with the ability to identify when to escalate a problem to the manager.

Identify when to contact insurance carriers for exceptions or special handling.

Skills / Knowledge / Education_

Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.

Ability to think independently and critically, with good problem solving skills.

Strong computer skills and familiarity with computer programs such as the Microsoft Office suite.

Preferred Qualifications - insurance knowledge and experience, LOMA, insurance licensing, post-secondary diploma or degree in business.
