Description

Telecon is looking for an energetic and career minded individual to take on the position of Project Coordinator with our growing team.

This full-time opportunity includes health benefits, company match RRSP plus opportunities for growth

This role will be an in office position based out of our yard in Hamilton.


Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Coordinator is part of a team who oversees the management of permits, subcontractors, management of locates, and provides data for management decisions in a timely manner.


Therefore, the
Project Coordinator shall:


  • Manage the daily drill sheet and production report sent to the foremen / supervisors.
  • Database maintenance.
  • Participate in client meetings.
  • Participate in Design review meetings.
  • Drop involvement: preparing logs, flagging billing, tracking drop completions.
  • Ensure smooth transfer from design locates civil drops cabling splicing while ensuring all team members have plans, test forms, and drop logs available.
  • Expiry reports: closing out tickets or remarking.
  • Collect test forms from field when completed, vet and submit to Bell.


To do so, this individual will work in strong collaboration with all managers, employees, other departments, and divisions to optimize efficiency, resources, and equipment to ensure all revenues are captured.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3 years of construction field and/or Civil Engineering experience.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Suite products (Excel, Outlook, PPT, Word etc.)
  • Knowledgeable of construction and/or telecommunication civil projects and strong planning skills is considered an asset.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and to multitask.
  • Bilingual (French and English) considered an asset.
