Key Responsibilities:


  • Directs and monitors the daily preparation and production of food products for the hotel
  • Verifies stock of food items and submits new requisitions to order supplies for the assigned station ensuring the right quantities are requested according to planned activities
  • Prepares stocks, sauces, soups
  • Leads cooks' team during daily operations
  • Prevents over production and waste
  • Ability to work any station below classification as needed
  • Effectively orientates, and trains kitchen employees to ensure strict compliance to all operating policies and procedures
  • Reports any concerns with product, equipment or associate performance to kitchen management team
  • Undertakes special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years of combined line cooking/Chef experience.
  • Flexibility to work shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills

$25.00 per hour
