Job Purpose:


This role will act as the implementation manager for initiatives to drive medical's omnichannel journey partnering across therapeutic areas (TAs) and playing a key role in helping TAs accelerate medical's data drive customer experience (DDCX) and digital strategy.

Partnering with TA's, building efficiencies across brands and leveraging key learnings from commercial & global through close partnerships with the operational excellence team is an important part of the role.


Canada is currently looking to lead in the Medical Omnichannel roll out and works closely with commercial to plan the future of medical's data drive customer experience through the Power Up Program (global partnership to accelerate digitization of medical/commercial engagements) by partnering with our commercial and tech organization both locally and globally.


Additionally, defining what metrics and communications is important to drive uptake and share what good looks like, helping to improved medical's confidence in digital, helping teams use and incorporate digital into their business plans.

You will also need to understand and follow our governance and compliance frameworks.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Partner with Medical and Commercial Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to build OneGSK omnichannel journeys
  • Medical point of contact for "Power up" initiatives
  • Collaborate with business, vendors, commercial and tech teams to scope, plan and embed digital experiences for HCPs
  • Partnering with the Global Medical Digital team to implement medical omnichannel locally
  • Monitor the external digital landscape, stay apprised of new and emerging innovations, evaluating new trends and helping offer creative solutions and craft a longterm vision for Digital Engagements in Medical Affairs
  • Be knowledgeable and work within governance & compliance frameworks, manage risk and mitigation approaches

Detailed Areas of Focus:


Delivery and Integration of Medical Digital Channels - Digital Channel SMEs for TA's:

  • Embedding Medical Digital Channels Frameworks and Omnichannel value and promoting use within the TA's/Brand Planning
  • SME for TAs on scientific engagement digital user journeys and integration of medical digital channels (including approval of new approaches through governance, legal and compliance)
  • Lead proactive collaboration and communication between TAs and other crossfunctional groups to identify best practices/synergies within digital space
  • Omnichannel implementation specific project management as required (i.e., timelines for Global content available for Canadian localization of medical user journey's/content)
  • Sharing best practices and key learnings of medical omnichannel LOC execution across TAs for awareness
  • Main pointofcontact between Global TA's/MDDAS and LOC teams to implement omnichannel
  • Support Medical field teams on adoption and execution of digital channels and gathering insights on continuous improvement opportunities

Delivery of Medical Omnichannel User Journeys in LOCs:

  • Providing guidance to local teams on appropriate medical user journeys based on their needs
  • Working with global/local digital teams to educate LOC on available medical channels, content, channel readiness for medical and resources needed to execute
  • Provide support to TA groups on maintenance and consultation plans post launch to continue to provide support as needed

Basic Qualification
Passionate about digital, healthcare, and continuous improvement.

  • Lead the development and understanding of digital platforms and systems used in the Medical/Development/Commercial/Pharma space
  • Degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Business Management, Digital, systems or related field
  • Action and people oriented individual
- challenge the status quo and the usual way things are done
- creative mind with analytical skills backed up by a pragmatic approach

  • Strong project management and communications skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and collectively as required

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proven project & service management skills
  • Formal project management experience is an asset
  • Experience in Agile Ways of Working is an asset
  • Knowledge Share & Communication and negotiation skills
  • Agency experience (digital or media) is desirable
  • Technical experience in Digital/Systems
  • Experience working through agile methodologies
