The Headlines

  • In the role of Assistant Marketing Operations Manager, you would work in our Toronto, Ontario office as part of the Marketing Department, reporting to a Senior Marketing Manager. This person will play a key role in setting the strategy and operations of our consumer facing Portfolio Platforms, Ship& (GTA DTC solution) & Their responsibilities will range from managing the daytoday operations, content & merch strategy, guide the marketing team on our promotion solutions within these platforms, establish a revamped roadmap, and unlocking scale with our portfolio. They are hyperenthusiastic, culturally literate, have a strong work ethic and are uptodate on everevolving digital and media trends. They will also work closely with the Digital Marketing Data and CRM lead, to ensure these platforms support our Data and CRM ambitions. They will have excellent communication skills, Shopify expertise, operations experience and ideally some agency experience.
    The Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy & operations of , including the roadmap, issue management, CRM, content and merch strategy.
  • Manage the Promotional turnkey solution and ensure we have the right data acquisition protocol in place to enable segmentation. Continuously drive platform enhancement to improve the consumer experience.
  • Set the DTC strategy for Ship & Sip, establish promotional & CRM calendar and manage day to day operation including guiding consumer issues and owning agency relationship (eCom, Digital and Fulfillment agencies)
  • Leverage data and metrics to optimize and improve performance and put forth recommendation.
  • Financial accountability with full P&L for these platforms.
  • Serve as a thought leader on trending portfolio platform topics, Shopify best in class examples, merch collection brilliance and content consumption.

The Other Qualifications:


  • You have a university degree, preferably in Marketing or Communications
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing/digital/eCommerce with proven experience supporting operations.
  • Creative thinker with impeccable communication and teammanagement skills; can collaborate effectively and efficiently.
  • Proactive, organized, efficient, detailoriented, unassailable focus on the basics, tenacious (persistent about bringing open items to closure), accountable, enthusiastic.
  • Strong understanding of key digital marketing channels and capabilities for the CPG industry
