Description

The day to day:

  • Post amount paid to customer accounts from High Radius (deduction management tool) to IFS (ERP system).
  • Post manual payments received directly to IFS.
  • Handles 57 accounts for both US and Canadian customers.
  • Researches and reconciles customer debit notes.
  • Conducts collection calls and updates status reports, notifies customers with overdue or delinquent accounts, and ensures that payments are received promptly.
  • Disputes the invalid deductions related to shortages and penalties on their accounts.
  • Releasing and holding purchase orders as appropriate on their accounts
  • Working closely with Regional Sales Managers and Brokers regarding approved, denied, or billed back deductions to the customers.

Experience we're looking for:

  • Relevant postsecondary experience. Interested in developing a career within the finance or accounting areas (i.e. interested in pursuing an accounting designation).
  • Advanced skill level working with Microsoft Excel, and demonstrated ability working with the Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word)
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Strong ability to work within a team and to take the initiative and work independently.
