Position Summary:


Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health is a community-centered agency dedicated to preventing disease, promoting the well-being of individuals, and protecting the health of the residents of Wellington County, Dufferin County and the City of Guelph.

The Finance Co-Op will support the Finance department in the form of data entry and extraction of information.


Tasks:


  • Data entry.
  • Maintain the various databases, ensure accuracy of data.
  • Run reports as needed.
  • Extract data as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Hours of Work:


Regular office hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm


Position Effective:

May 8, 2023


Requirements:


  • Minimum of oneyear postsecondary school in a finance or business program preferred.
  • Students must be eligible for a coop placement as part of their program.
  • Preference will be given to students with a focus in Finance or Business Administration.
  • Work experience in an administrative support role preferred.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • High degree of comfort with computers, able to adapt and learn computer programs quickly.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
