As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager enthusiastic experienced
Material Handler - Warehouse to join our successful Toronto team immediately.

We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills in the manufacturing industry.


SUMMARY:
This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.

The Material Handler - Warehouse is responsible for planning & coordinating the movement, verification & maintenance of records for incoming goods.

The role will also ensure the safe transport and storage of materials, ensuring accurate inventory levels.


ROLE:


  • Compares identifying shipment information & counts, weighs or measures items of incoming goods to verify information against packing slips & bills of lading.
  • Creates & submits proper documentation set out by the Finance department when discrepancies occur.
  • Safely transports ships, receives and inspects incoming and outgoing goods for conformance.
  • Creates & submits proper documentation as required.
  • Enter received for finished goods into and out of the inventory system as per existing policies & procedures.
  • Cycle count parts inventory as required.
  • Stocks productionrelated parts into store area and routes to the proper department all nonproduction items.
  • Report discrepancies or anomalies in inventory amounts to Management.
  • Report safety and quality concerns to the proper department.
  • Performs housekeeping, cleanup and other 5 Srelated activities as required.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

DESIRED SKILLS:


  • Able to follow warehouse procedures and capable of learning to perform warehouserelated inventory transactions.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Team player.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Experience with Active Dynamics Component Parts.
  • Minimum grade 12 or equivalent education.
  • Written & oral aptitude in English.
  • Mathematical aptitude.
  • Conscientious and punctual.
  • Require a Lift truck license.




VACANCIES:
1 Afternoon Shift (3:30 pm - 12:00 am)





RATE:
$22.45


Subject to assessment of skills and qualifications by Active following a 60 working days probationary period

Shifts may vary

Shift Premium where applicable
