We have an opening for a CNC Milling Machine Operator, on our Haas machines. This opening is on our day shift. Experience is an asset. Wage is based on experience.

Job Summary

  • Operate CNC Milling Machines.
  • Place and secure work pieces in proper machine table, holding device, or other appropriate surface using clamps and wrenches.
  • Set up, load, operate and manufacture a variety of parts using CNC machining centers to make custom parts according to customer orders and instructions written on Work Orders and blue prints
  • Complete work order scanning and paperwork.
  • Check parts for conformance to customer specifications.
  • Maintain count and perform packaging duties as required
  • Participate in cross training activities to become knowledgeable of equipment/process within the department
  • Perform routine daily machine maintenance including cleaning up and lubrication
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Make suggestions to improve production and order processing efficiency
  • Assist with training other team members
  • Follow safety rules and quality standards

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Good math skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Able to understand blueprints/customer drawings
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Able to problem solve/troubleshoot
  • Able to use basic measuring tools

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
From $19.00 per hour
