Key Job Elements:


  • Responsible to coordinate, track and maintain the management of program documents and correspondence, including business communications, letters and presentations for internal and external audiences
  • Responsible to manage the program risk register and action logs
  • Provide Arabic to English, English to Arabic interpretation and translation both written and verbal
  • Demonstrate breadth of knowledge and communication skills to support technical customer interactions in English and Arabic
  • Support, help coordinate and host customer and key leader visits and events, including providing translation
  • Provide guidance and cultural awareness for best practices on communication with Middle Eastern customers
  • Update and maintain vehicle configuration records in the GDLS-C database
  • Maintain and continue to develop and improve an English/Arabic glossary
  • Assist in preparing documents for contract deliverables and manage tracking and reporting
  • Assist in coordinating Integrated Product Team meetings
  • Assist in development and management of program metrics and reporting
  • Assist in management of Continuous Improvement initiatives

Position Requirements:


Required Qualifications:


  • University degree in Arts, Social Sciences, Program or Business Management or a technical field
  • Experience drafting business correspondence and delivering presentations in English and Arabic
  • A professional business demeanor focused on customer and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Demonstrated initiative and results oriented behaviour
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, tasks and schedules
  • Excellent planning, time management and organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication in both English and Arabic
  • Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office: Word, Excel, Access, Powepoint, Outlook)
This opportunity is a one year contract to be performed onsite at 1991 Oxford Street East, London, Ontario. The role may be occassionally performed remotely. The base wage is $30.00 CAD per hour for 40 hours per week.
