We are currently looking for a
IT Specialist, Security Analyst to join our team


What you can expect in this role:

The IT Specialist, Security Analyst is responsible for developing, documenting, and maintaining methodologies for assessing security and technological risks associated with projects.

This involves defining requirements, conducting assessments, implementing security measures, and ensuring operational readiness.


More specifically, here are some of the key responsibilities:

  • Develop, document, and maintain the methodology for assessing the security and technological risks of projects (definition of requirements, assessment, implementation, and operational readiness).
  • Provide security oversight for new systems and major system releases by reviewing system security capabilities, recommending improvements.
  • Document and maintain security and technology risk requirements and controls for each category (confidentiality, integrity, and availability) in accordance with the risk analysis methodology.
  • Work closely with the IT Operations team and other teams to implement controls and continuously improve their effectiveness.
  • Prepare handouts and provide technical support to teams responsible for the IT environment.
  • Analyze and improve security tools, processes, and controls to enhance the security posture and performance of our network and systems.
  • Create and update security reports, dashboards, and metrics to measure and communicate the effectiveness of security operations.
  • All other related tasks.

Here's the profile we're looking for:

  • College or University degree in information technology or computer science.
  • 3 to 5 years of IT experience, with expertise in Security and Application support
  • Strong IT and security technical foundations such as Linux, Windows, vulnerability management, and secure software development.
  • Experience in developing corporate policies and guidelines and implementing security measures.
  • Autonomous with ability to work in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment with strong analytical, prioritization, interpersonal, problem solving, planning and project management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with an ability to translate complex data and concepts into formats that are easy to understand for broad audiences.
