CNC Milling Machinist to join our Milling department.

Responsibilities:

_

Studies blueprints, work order, setup sheet, tool lists, operation sheets, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
Setting up and operating all types of CNC machinery required (specifically millturn machines with Mazak, Fanuk Controls).
Verify tooling requirements are met in advance of commencement of each job; Bring up any issues/concerns to supervisor
Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, and grinders as per set up sheets and/or work instructions.
Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, and input.

Experience:

-
5+ years' experience setting up and operating all types of CNC machinery required (specifically mill-turn machines with multiple spindles and turrets)
:

Ability to read and interpret, drawings, charts, tables to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product
Ability to select and use appropriate cutting tools and precision measuring instruments to ensure components are machined to specific tolerances and surface finishes as indicated on the drawings

Salary:

From $27.00 per hour
