The Executive Administrator to the Board and President & CEO is responsible for the effective administration for the Board and President's Offices.

Reporting jointly to the President & CEO and the Board Chair, the Executive Administrator is a cross functional role that extends and elevates the communication between the Executive team and the Board while supporting business and governance objectives.

The Executive Administrator provides advice to the Board of Directors and Executive team; legislative support; prepares Cabinet documents, correspondence; and provides advisory, operational, issues management, and government relations support as required.

The position also provides administrative support to the President & CEO and has access to confidential and/or proprietary information requiring considerable good judgment and discretion.

The Executive Administrator to the Board and President & CEO will bring a collaborative, entrepreneurial spirit to the role.

The Executive Administrator will possess an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline such as Business or Commerce, or equivalent experience, as well as at least seven years of relatable experience dealing with highly confidential matters.

Experience spent in a private industry, retail, government, or crown corporation is preferred, as is experience in government relations. This individual will have demonstrated experience effectively interacting and directly working with Boards, Board members, and senior leadership teams.

The Executive Administrator will be a natural people leader who has a strong eye for detail, is highly organized, and has demonstrated experience in and passion for building and fostering strong genuine relationships across a variety of levels and organizations.
