- Review and approve incoming vendor estimates to ensure quality and technical expertise.
- Perform scope reviews, seek clarification from vendors on estimates, and negotiate costs with vendors/contractors.
- Offer dispute-resolution services on estimate reviews involving CAA Members, vendors, and the Insurance company.
- Provide guidance to Property adjusters when facing exceptions.
- Coordinate appraisal resources to ensure efficient assignment dispatch.
- Engage in industry events and special projects to benefit the claims department as identified periodically.
- 1-3 years' experience in building construction as a project manager or senior property adjuster with an insurance carrier.
- Proficiency in XACTANALYSIS platform and XACTIMATE software.
- Familiarity with building codes and hazardous material exposure management.
- Educational background with relevant post-secondary education complemented by a CIP designation or working towards one.
- IICRC Fire and Water restoration certification would be advantageous.
- Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Advanced technical knowledge of property damage analysis.
