Description

The Oakville Club, established in 1907 is a multi-sport, social and family oriented Members Club, tucked away on sixteen mile creek, in the heart of downtown Oakville.

The Club has become a primary source of community connections for our Members through camaraderie and lifelong friendships.


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of Club, member and private events, from initial contact to event execution
  • Collaborate with members and guests to understand their specific needs and preferences for the event
  • Create customized menus and proposals based on client requirements and budget
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers
  • Manage event logistics, including set up and breakdown
  • Provide exceptional service throughout the planning and execution process
  • Upsell additional services or upgrades to enhance member experience
  • Communicate effectively with members, fellow staff and vendors to ensure smooth event operations
  • Maintain accurate records of all catering activities, including contracts, invoices, and client feedback

Experience:


  • Previous experience in the catering or hospitality industry is required
  • Knowledge of private club and/or restaurant operations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
