Post-Secondary Instructor, Graphic and Print Technician
Term of Employment:
July 3, 2023 to June 14, 2024 with possibility of renewal
Salary Range:
$52.49 to $71.41 per hour
Location: 7 Fultz Campus and/or remotely, as required
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (30 hours/week)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Instruction, Preparation, Planning
- Instruct course(s) using MITT curriculum; use appropriate and effective instructional methods, such as lectures and demonstrations to accommodate the learning styles of individual students; enhancing the student learning experience and ensuring engagement in learning activities;
- continuously checks in with students to ensure they understand course material and are able to retain the information they learned;
- prepares course outlines for approval by the Dean or their designate, including course timetabling within the academic year, learning outcomes, and assessment and evaluations;
- develops digital instructional resources that allow students on-campus and remote access to learning materials;
- prepares, administers, and evaluates assignments and assessments; provides marks and feedback to students on their assessment items in a timely manner to ensure they have time to learn and improve;
- plans lessons and classroom activities that are linked to the course outline, consistently demonstrating preparedness for class;
- engage in the utilization of technology to enable early intervention for students at academic risk;
- fosters accountability, teamwork, and collaboration in students, preparing activities that focus on both individual and group work;
- Conduct research related to curriculum; continuously reviews curriculum to ensure its appropriateness and currency; works with MITT's Educational Technologists, Program Manager, and Academic Coordinator to formalize curriculum changes.
- Implement and adopt curricular changes, appropriately adjusting course materials in order to meet Institutional needs.
- Coordinate and capture data for the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) placements for students, preparing WIL materials, and conducting onsite visits to ensure students are meeting the needs of the placement company/organization. Creates alternative capstonetype WIL projects for students who do not meet the WIL requirements for a placement and in the case of an unforeseen occurrence that warrants students not frequent onsite placements.

- provides appropriate direction to students regarding their own educational and individual growth goals;
- provides fair, supportive, and consistent feedback to students to assist them with accomplishing their educational goals;
- manages and addresses inappropriate student behavior according to the Institution's policies and procedures.
